Is Your Team Making You Money or Costing You Money?

If you’re like so many of the business owners I know and work with, the first step you took after hitting 6 or multi-6 figures was to start building a team.

Maybe your first hire was a virtual assistant, a social media manager, a bookkeeper, or a fractional CFO. Whatever it was, you’ve likely been adding to your team ever since.

But I’d bet there’s one responsibility that is still solely on your shoulders: sales.

So many entrepreneurs forget — or are too scared — to hire and train someone to generate revenue in the business.

The problem with delegating every role other than sales is that eventually, you will become the bottleneck in your company, because you simply won’t have enough time to bring in the number of sales required.

As a leader, you need to be able to focus on training, developing, and managing your team, making it impossible for you to also act as the sole revenue generator.

It all comes down to one hard truth: your employees aren’t making you any money.

The first step to making your team profitable is hiring a social seller, effectively removing the need for you to drive revenue in your business.

If that sounds scary, you have to ask yourself this: how important is it to you that you are able to make an impact and be the change that you want to see in the world?

Because that is what a social seller will make possible for you.
